Saturday 13th June. Moth identification.
Drop in session from 10am to 12 noon

Professor Ian Beavis will once again identify moths which have been trapped overnight near the cemetery. We should find some different species from previous years as it is earlier in the year. (The moths are not harmed and are released at the end of the morning).

As usual refreshments will be available during this drop in session.

Heritage Open Days
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September

Our theme this year will be Accidents and Disasters.

A walk and talk will take place on Saturday 12th September to include some of the graves of people who died following accidents. Be prepared for some shocking details!!

We are preparing a booklet to include these people and many more who died before ideas of Health and Safety were considered the norm.

On Sunday 13th September there will be a small exhibition and a self guided walk to accompany our new publication

Tuesday 29th September at 10am
Fungus Walk

Our annual and ever popular fungus walk led by mycologist Martin Allison will take place on 29th September. Details on how to book will be available nearer the date.
