Remembrance Day 13th November 2022

The annual Remembrance Day event took place on Sunday 13th November.

Wreaths were laid at all four war memorials within the cemetery, and the Last Post was played by buglers from the TS Brilliant Sea Cadet Corps Band, followed by a two minute silence and the Reveille.

There are 136 Commonwealth War Graves in the cemetery, and the lives of all of these men and women have been researched by the Friends of the Cemetery. Their stories can be read in two publications, Remembered and Remembered Two, which can be purchased via our website. The graves of 18 civilians who were killed in the Second World War are in the cemetery too. Their lives have also been researched by the Friends, with their stories told in a free publication available on request.

Thanks to David Walter for the photographs
