A poignant ceremony was held at the cemetery on the evening of Tuesday 21st May 2024, organised by the Tunbridge Wells Sea Cadets to remember Peter Fry, a fifteen year old member of the Sea Cadets who died in tragic circumstances in 1943. Following his death his parents donated a trophy, the Peter Fry Cup, to the unit in memory of their son.
